Employee Overtime Module
Our module features:

How to use:
1- The Overtime Module:
You will find our module on odoo system on the Employees menu as you can see in the image below
2- Creating Overtime Request:
Go to Employees -> Overtime Request and click on Create button
The fields you need to fill when you create an overtime Request on our system are:

Request Date: you will fill up the date of the overtime.

Employee Name: the name of the employee who asking for the overtime

From Date and To Date: here you will fill both date and time from and to for the overtime period.

Overtime Type: you will choose from the drop-down list menu the type of the employee overtime.

Take Actual Attendance Hours and Update button: when you check this box, you will take the actual employee sign in and sign out attendance from the system whatever you put in the fields From Date and To Date the system will pass them, and about the Update button we click it after we check this box to calculate for us the overtime balance.

Reason Of Overtime and Notes: in this field you will enter the main reason for taking this overtime and if you have any extra notes about this overtime request, you can add them on the Notes field.
After you save the overtime request there is only one thing left which is the Approving for it and this is a must in order to process this request on the system.
3- Creating Overtime Types
In this screen, we will create the overtime types which are used when we create the request and these are the fields which needs from you to fill it:

Overtime Type: you name the type you want to create as you like.

Overtime Category: you can choose from the drop-down list menu a category which is suitable for the overtime type you created.

Start Calculating after sign out by: in this field, you fill it with hours or minutes to start calculate the overtime after the employee sign out, if you want to start calculating with the first minute after the employee sign out you just type 00:00.

Pre- Request Days: now if you want the employee to create the request for this overtime type before a set of days you can add the number of these days in this field, otherwise fill it with 0 to request this overtime immediately.
3- Overtime Details Tab

Department: if you want to let this overtime type only appear to a group of employees in the same Department, you will choose from the drop-down list menu the Department you want.

Job Position: here also if you want to let this overtime type only appear to a group of employees with the same job position, you will choose from the drop-down list menu the job position you want.

Apply Double Validation: it's a security and top management features, like if you want direct manager to Approve (overtime request) the first one and the HR manager to Approve the second one.

Active: if you uncheck this box this overtime type will be disabled and it will not be shown when you create the overtime request, otherwise leave it checked.
