Base Module Record

Description of Module

This module allows you to create a new module without any development.
It records all operations on objects during the recording session and produce a .ZIP module. So you can create your own module directly from the Odoo client.
This version works for creating and updating existing records. It recomputes dependencies and links for all types of widgets (many2one, many2many, ...). It also support buttons and demo/update data.
This should help you to easily create reusable and publishable modules for custom configurations and demo/testing data.

Excellent module, time and life savior! To people wondering how to use it, complaining about the "Thanks For using Module Recorder", here is a mini-how-to (odoo 10), i will use the hr.salary.rule model as example: -install the module - check you clock, write down the current time (date, hour, minutes). - do some record creating or modifications, eg: modify or create some hr.salary.rule records. - when you are done with modification, activate the developper mode, go to Settings/ Module Creation/Export Customizations As Data file . - a wizard should appear. remove all models, add hr.salary.rule using the "add an item" button. - in "Record from Date" widget, choose the exact date and time you actually begun creating/modifying your hr.salary.rule records . in the "Records only" part, choose "created & modified. - when you are done with that, click the "record button". A new window should appear, with XML text to copy/paste in your module. if you got troubles, feel free to mail me: s.amine.impactnet@gmail.com
