Filter Records
Overview
This module helps to Filter/Search Records for particular user.
Feature
- This module will Filter/search records in the all the odoo objects based on user access.
- User can search records by selecting menu and its field.
- User can add two conditions at a same time to search records.
- Easy to install. No more configuration needed for this.
How It Works
Users Configuration
Admin has to give "Show Filter Record" access to users from below Path:
Settings -> Users -> Other -> Show Filter Record (Please refer below screenshot)
If "Show Filter Record" access is ticked, User can see Filter Record menu.
If "Show Filter Record" access is not ticked, User can not see Filter Record menu.
If "Show Filter Record" access is ticked, User can see Filter Record menu.
If "Show Filter Record" access is not ticked, User can not see Filter Record menu.
Filter Records
Open the Filter/Search view as per the below screenshot.
Select the Menu name. Based on the menu all field will show in Field 1 box.
After that select the operator and add Filter/Search Text as per below screenshot.
Click on Find button to Filter/Search the records.

Click on Find button to Filter/Search the records.
After Click on Find button, Below result will show.
If user want to set another condition then click on the Add a condition button.
When user will click this button below view will show.

User can add two condition at a time. In these user can set And/Or operator to filter/search the records.
