Employee Attendance WebCam module
Take images with a WebCam when employees check-in and check-out from attendance.
Webcam
- Adds a webcam element on the check-in / check-out form for the employees to automatically take a photo when clicked.
- The browser asks for permission to the webcam the first time when you hover over the webcam element.

Danger!!!!!!!! It needs flash player a very dangerous in door.
Module - Perfect Developer-Excellent
The module perfectly suits my needs. The developer went out of the way to help me with any issues I faced, he even helped me add a Multi Company rule so Employees of a Particular company are only visible in that particular company.

Does this app still work at this time? I see here the last discussion on it was back in 2018 and your website is currently offline.

Hi, this is due to using an insecure http connection, as webcam element requires https to be used. You can instead force Flash to be used to display the webcam element, and it will work, just add a system parameter in Odoo with the Key: hr_attendance_webcam.flash_fallback_mode and the Value: 1. (in Settings - Technical - Parameters - System Parameters)
Webcam.js Error: Could not locate DOM element to attach to.
I install odoo 11 with the module. There is still the problem. Tried firefox , chrome , edge. Also tried in pc and laptop.
@Khairul: yes, that's affirmative - it works both in Kiosk mode and in manual check-in/check-out mode. We haven't tried it with the barcode scanner yet, but feel free to send us an e-mail and we'll provide you with a demo instance where you can try it in that scenario.
@Jayant: it's possible, but that would include a lot of custom development depending on the needs required. this module is adding the webcam features only to the Attendances app.
Could this module take picture on kiosk mode when clock-in/out using PIN or Barcode?

Can this module be extended to other places, wherever, there is an image upload facility? Also, we are interested in taking not just the picture but record the live movie for some transactions. For example, at the time of delivery we'd like to capture the goods loading activities or record the cleanliness of the truck in which the material will be loaded. Please advise if this is possible and if this module can be extended for the same.
