Install and update non default modules
For normal users, who don't want to do it manually.
Currently two formats are supported: ZIP ...
a standard zip package.
Containing either a single module or multiple ones! If your web server is protected by basic auth, then you can also provide here a username and password.
... or a complete GIT repository.
That can be public or private.
Also containing either a single module or multiple ones! http:// and https:// repository links are currently supported. You can specify a username and password to allow the download of private modules
Direct install from Odoo App Store
Pick the module that you like and copy the link.
The link can will download a valid zip file, that you can just like shown before use to download the app.
Updating Apps are clicking a button.
Batteries included. Update Apps by pushing a button.
Once you have downloaded a module with "Install & Update Apps auto", you can continue updating them by pushing a button in user interface.
