HR Payroll Accounting Multi Currency

Overview

Odoo 12 by default does not support multi currency in HR Payroll, this module enable you to create payslips in any currency used in your company and it will reflect that in accounting journal entry.

Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo Community Edition but not tested in Enterprise Edition.

Features
Ability to use any currency in the employee contract.
Ability to create payslip with any currency depend on employee contract.
Accounting journal entry will be created depend on the payslip currency.
Ability to print payslip and payslip details reports with multi currency.
How it works

Employee Contract Currency

Before creating any payslip, you have to set the employee contract currency and you can do it as below:
In my environment, The company currency is Yemeni Rial (YER) and I will use USD currency in the employee contract.

Create Payslip with Multi Currency

To create a payslip, once you selected the employee, the contract will be set automatically and the payslip currency will be the same of employee contract currency.

After compute sheet, you will see the currency in "salary computation" tab as below:

And in the "Details by Salary Rule Category" tab as below:

And in the "payslip lines" as below:

Payslip Journal Entry

Once you confirmed a payslip, journal entry will be created with multi currency as below:

Refund Payslip Journal Entry

Once you refunded a payslip, journal entry will be created with multi currency as below:

I have odoo 17.0 enterprise edition. Can I use this app?

Max, I have upgraded the module to Odoo 13.0 and it's working in Odoo community with Payroll from Odoo Mates.

Waleed Mohsen, we plan to use Payroll in Enterprise edition. Did you test this module on Odoo 13 Community with Payroll from Odoo Mates?

Dear Max, We never test it till now but I can test it with payroll from Odoo Mates and let you know. You can purchase it and test it in Odoo 13.0 enterprise and we are ready to fix any issues you will encounter.

Dear Max, As you know the payroll module in Odoo 13.0 only available in Enterprise version and we never test it in Odoo 13.0 enterprise. Are you using Odoo Enterprise or Odoo community with third party Payroll moduel?
