Product calculator
This module adds a tab on product view which allows you to make price simulations based on a variety of variables, and thus provides decision support.
Features
With this module, you can calculate:
- Sale price excl. tax / incl. tax
- Margin rate
- Mark-up rate
- Gross margin
- Net margin
- Cost price
Sale price can be computed from margin / mark-up rate, gross margin and net margin. Conversely, it's possible to compute these rates from the sale price.
Here are the variables available:
- Purchase price
- VAT rate
- Commercial discount
- Currency interaction
- Cost of transport
- Cost of packaging
- Cost of labor
- Other costs
Commercial discount, currency interaction, cost of transport, cost of packaging, cost of labor and other costs are percentages. These costs are added to the purchase price and make it possible to calculate the cost price.
