Purchase Order History module for Odoo v12

Get the information about date and quantity that helps you decide if the current price is acceptable.

When you add a product to the purchase order you can check the history.
It will show you the Order date, Unit price and Quantity.

Displayed history will depend on the vendor you choose.
This way you can easily overview which vendor has the best prices.

How to use the module?

Create a few purchase orders:

  • First navigate to Purchase module and Create a new Request for quotation.

  • Select a Vendor and add a Product.
  • Then define a Quantity and Unit price for that product.

  • You can now CONFIRM ORDER and everytime you create a new Purchase order with that same Vendor and Product it will be logged in the history.

Check the history:
  • Now when you create a new Request for Quotation, you can click on the i in the product line.
  • This will open the Purchase Order History for the combination of selected vendor and product.

  • If you select a different Vendor you will see their history of prices.

  • If you now change the Product so will the product on history change and show its prices.

Settings:
  • To access them you will have to open Configuration > Settings.
  • Here you can change the No. of latest ordered products, which is maximum of displayed previous prices.

  • The last thing to take note of here is the option to Lock Confirmed Orders.
  • This should not be enabled, because the module doesn't accept Purchase Orders in state Locked.

  • The history will be logged only for the orders in state Purchase Order.

We provide access to all versions prior to and including Odoo Version 12.
With Odoo Version 13 and newer versions every version will be sold separately.
This module is only compatible with Community version. It is not available on Enterprise (on-premise or Odoo.sh).
The module cannot be installed on Odoo Online (Cloud), since it doesn't allow third-party modules.
For this module to work, you just need the basic Purchase module.
No, only Purchase Orders in state Purchase Order will be logged into history.
