Sales Timesheet Selector

Module for service companies that need to select the timesheets to invoice from the sales orders

By default Odoo selects all timesheets available for invoicing, while we often must only select a part of them, like when we are doing monthly billing.

The module also includes some other configurable advanced features.

It allows to :
  • Select the timesheets to invoice from sales orders
  • Prefixing sales orders names with customer's name, or with a shorter acronyn.
  • Name projects and tasks according to a naming convention, based on the sales oders' names
  • Manage products UOM with several durations for working days
  • Distinguish the worked time with the invoiced time, with eventually enhanced rounding rules
  • Add details for involved periods in invoice lines
  • Set a default payment term at partner/customer creation

We recommend to update the module's settings before start working with !

In the Sale Order form, click for creating an invoice:

Select here the timesheets you want to invoice:

The module sets the "Hour" UOM as the reference for the "Working Time" UOM category, and updates the "Day" UOM with a ratio of 8h. You then are free to define other daily UOMs according to your needs or customers' demands.

Set the "Is daily UOM" flag to true, in order to tell that this UOM is subject to daily invoiced time rounding at timesheet creation:

Products must be configured as "Services", with Tasks and timesheets:

In partners' form, define short acronyms if relevant. If there is no acronym, and that the Sales Orders naming convention is active, the module will then take the partner's name and keep only 8 characters by default (configurable in the settings).

By default the "Invoiced Time" field takes what have been filled in the "Working Time" field, then it applies the rounding logic if it is configured in the settings.
