Website Sale Cart Timeout module is provides a features to cart timeout in Odoo Shop.

Key Features

  • Customer move on payment page cart timeout clock will be started.
  • We can set cart timeout limit, default limit is 15 minutes.
  • Customer have to complete own order with specified time otherwise cart will be destroy.
  • If re-fresh our webpage, timer will running in background.
  • If we add another items in cart but timer is running in background.

Cart Timeout Configuration

  • Navigate to the website and click on the Configuration menu.
  • Now, click on Settings sub-menu and open website.
  • Then we go to the Features section and set cart timeout limit(default 15 minutes).


Add Products In Cart

  • Now, we add products in cart and click on the Process Checkout button.


Cart Timer Start

  • When we move on payment page, cart timeout timer will automatically start.
  • Customer have not to cmplete own order with limited time, cart will automatically expire.


Empty Cart

  • After timeout our cart is empty.
