Odoo 13 HR Penalty (Enterprise)

This module allows to manage employee late coming penalty.

Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo Enterprise version. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.

How to use

  • Set the HR penalty configuration setting in employee setting
  • Set the allow late minute that will allow employee to late time if employee working time 8:00 and allow late minute 30 then employee allow to 08:30. under the 08:30 employee not consider to late.
  • You can set the apply penalty after if you can the apply penalty after 2 then if emplyee late two time then penalty amount not added in late entry.
  • You can set the rule to count the unpaid leave if you mark as True then one field visible called Apply Penalty on Leave After. you can set the late entry limit on that if employee late entry limit exists then it will create the unpaid leave on that day.
  • Set the penalty amount that added on late entry


  • Set the employee working hour schedule on employee


  • In Employee form there is a smart button called Late Penalty it will show the count of total late entry and when click on the button it will open the employee late entry list view
  • When click on the Late Penalty smart button it will open the list of that employee with their late entries
  • In the configuration set the apply penalty after 2 so, it will not apply late penalty amount in first two late entry
  • In the configuration if the count to unpaid leave true and set the limit for the apply penalty on leave after the it employee late out of the limit then it will create the employee unpaid leave
  • Emplyee all late entry default set to draft
  • Manager can Approve or Cancel the penalty if Approve the penalty then it will deduct the penalty amount when compute sheet from payslip.if Cancel the late entry the it will not consider when create paysplip
  • in payslip it will display the payslip that will related to that late entry
  • Manager approve the late entry and when create the payslip it will deduct that amount that is in late entry then employee late entry set to the deduct state
  • The diffrence show the time diffrence between employee actual check in time + allow late minutes - employee check in so it will show the employee late entry time
  • Create Employee Contract on employee and add the salary rule Late Coming penalty Deduction
  • Add the Salary Rule Late Coming penalty Deduction on the salary structure
  • When create the employee payslip select the contract and salary structure in contract you can set the salary rule Late Coming penalty Deduction when you compute the sheet it will find the late penalty entry that has approve and add the line on salary rule category and compute total late penalty amount and it will deduct from the employee salary
