Features

• Ability to connect to multiple Instagram accounts.
• Adding and scheduling new posts on Instagram via Odoo in a few clicks.
• Ability to read all image`s posts from Instagram and displaying them in the Social Marketing app.
• Ability to read likes/comments for each post. And enable commenting from Odoo (Likes, stories, and posting multi-images is not supported in the Instagram API used)

Process

• A Facebook app should be created for using the API, check it in the following link https://developers.facebook.com/ , (the API used is Instagram graph API, to know more about it: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/ )

• Under Settings app, the user should activate the option User your own Facebook Account and insert the App ID and App Secret (these are taken from the application created in Facebook developers’ site).

• Go to Social Marketing App, Under Configuration/Social Media the user can Link Instagram Account

• On Click Link Account the system will redirect you to log in via a Facebook account in order to read its Instagram business account, if an Instagram account is not found for the logged-in Facebook account nothing will happen.

• If a business Instagram account exists the system will create for it a social account and display it in the Social Marketing App dashboard.

• The user can add a stream for tracking the Instagram account posts: Add new post by Odoo, read new posts posted from Instagram, check likes, comments, views, followers, and comment or reply to comments also via Odoo.

• On Add new Post it will redirect the user for the social post form: (Posting multiple images is not supported in the API)

• To read posts from Instagram need to click on the Synchronize button and if new posts were added from Instagram a refresh button will be then displayed above the stream, then on click refresh posts will be displayed under the account stream`s feed.
