Multiple barcodes on product
Adds the logic to have multiple barcodes on a product.
Description
This module will make it possible to have multiple barcodes for 1 product. This may come in handy when buying the same product from different vendors, which all have their own barcode for this product.
How to use this app?
After installing, a new tab will be visible on the product template.
Here you can define the different barcodes for the product. The top barcode will be the one that is displayed under the `general information` tab.
This will also be the barcode used under the `print` option.
The position of the barcodes can easily be adjusted by dragging them to a higher/lower position. The first barcode in the list will replace the old one under the tab `general information`.
If you try to use the same barcode on multiple products, you will receive a blocking message when trying to save.
When using the barcode module, and scanning one of the barcodes (listed above) of the product, Odoo will
recognize the product.
In this example we scanned the barcode linked to 777222 (not the top barcode).
This resulted in Odoo recognizing the `Corner Desk Black`.
This will optimize your flow receiving the same product from different vendors with different barcodes since you will be able to scan all of them!
Notes
- Also works on product variants (product.product)
- All barcodes will get recognized in other Odoo apps (sales, purchase, inventory, ...)
- Does NOT work in Point Of Sale
