Odoo eLearning - Local and External Videos Support - website_slides

Now you can embed local uploaded videos, external videos from external storage, Google Drive videos, livestreaming broadcast and Vimeo videos.

Odoo eLearning by default only allow embed Youtube videos, but now you can take control of videos can you insert in every slide.

Now you can too embed a Zoom meeting in content slide, using Zoom Web SDK. Copy and paste the zoom meeting ID and Zoom Access code. In Elearning/Settings, you must enable Zoom Meetings writting your API KEY and API Secret. Show instructions to generate in https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/guides/build/jwt-app.

Hey a question, because at that price I won't risk that the following is not supported.

Does this module work with "domain-level embed privacy" settings on Vimeo? This makes it impossible to view the video just by grabbing the embedded Vimeo URL from the source and pasting that to your address bar. Of course downloading is still possible, but I don't think most people would bother. (They also need to spoof the URL of the site that the video is allowed to be played on)

Hi Sipri, that is correct. It is the configuration that I recommend by default to customers who use the module to protect their content on Vimeo. You can only embed the videos in the established domains. When creating a slide in elearning, you must do it without protection to allow you to insert and save the content. Once this is done, you activate domain protection from Vimeo. We have more than a year working with this functionality without problems.

Hello! Local video supports format MP4, OGG and WEBM. MP4 works excellent, ogg and webm depends of codecs in you mac.

Buenas noches Jonatham. Por defecto Odoo no permite en su versión cloud la instalación de aplicaciones de terceros, sin embargo, si usas la versión Community o Enterprise On Premise, ya sea en servidores propios, virtualizados, Odoo.sh puedes instalar módulos de terceros sin complicaciones.
