Overview
This module helps you transfer data across copied databases. If for instance you copied a database from a production server and restored it on a local instance, then realized that values for a specific field are missing, you can use this app to fetch the missing values
Configuration
First and foremost you need to allow access to the app in user settings after installation
After allowing access, the app will show on the dashboard. Open the app and create a new configuration
Save the configuration and then click on Action > Execute. Click continue on the warning popup
You can add a custom domain from the Other info tab. This will be passed to the fetch query. Note that due to performance issues, only 1000 records can be updated at a time hence you will have to execute the configuration as many times as needed if you have more records.The 'Last offset' field keeps track of how many records have been updated so far.
For this demo, I have copied a database then cleared all contacts tax ids. I'm going to re-fetch them from the origin (where I copied the database from). Here is my contacts list before executing my data fetcher configuration
