Inventory Revaluation

• Do you want to update the cost price for multiple products at the same time?
• You want to enter data quickly and conveniently, instead of having to go to each individual product and update each one?
• This module will help you do that!

Now let's take a look at some pictures of the module:

First, make sure you have the module installed.
And then, a new menu will appear inside module Inventory > Operations > Inventory Revaluation
You can open the function and start selecting products that will re-evaluate:
There are 4 main filters for you:

Please note that you have 2 non-mandatory option: Hide Consumable or Service Products & Hide Manual Inventory Valuation Products.
Then, you can press ‘START REVALUATION’ button:

Now, you can simply update cost for many products. Increase and decrease accounts are automatically taken from the category of the product. You can set it up there.

Note: On version 12, Odoo does not allow updating the cost of products with category which have valuation is automated and costing method is FIFO.
After press ‘VALIDATE’ button, the system will generate journal entries and update the cost of products.
Remember that you can also update the cost of products which have valuation is manual, but they will not generate journal entries.
