Helpdesk Timesheet on Project Task

Our module for a transparent overview of your project times

Our module Helpdesk Timesheet on Project Task offers the possibility to link the time recording of a helpdesk ticket to a project task. In this way, we guarantee you and your customers a transparent overview of the time recordings of the helpdesk tickets via the linked project task in your customer portal and facilitate the invoicing of the project times.


By using our module you will benefit from the following features:

  • Assignment of a helpdesk to a project and an associated project task
  • Invoicing of the hours worked via the project task
  • Tracking of hours worked by the customer via the project task in the customer portal

Configure the helpdesk

Navigate to the Helpdesk → Configuration → Helpdesk Teams. Enable the option "Timesheet on Ticket" and set the default project and task for the helpdesk. Additionally the option "Time Reinvoicing" can be enabled to allow editing the default project and task in a specific ticket.

Preselected project and task in tickets

The default project and task of the helpdesk are automatically preselected when creating a new ticket. The timesheets entered on the ticket are booked directly to the selected task.

Invoicing and tracking via tasks

The timesheets from the tickets are linked to the tasks. This allows them to be invoiced via the task. In addition, this way customers can see and track their times via the task in the customer portal.

Recommended Add-on: "Helpdesk Ticket Number on Timesheet"

The extra module "Helpdesk Ticket Number on Timesheet" automatically append the helpdesk ticket number to the time recording entry. This makes it visible from which ticket a time entry originates and thus makes the time entries more traceable for the customer.
