Restrict Your Salesperson To Their Own Contacts/Partners Only

A module to restrict your salespersons to be able to READ & EDIT their own contacts (customers and vendors) only. It also allows the salespersons to READ & EDIT contacts to which they have been added as ``followers`` of those contacts

Salesperson Must Belong To A Group

A salesperson who belongs the group known as "Access To Own Contacts Only" shall access contacts of fellow workmates (internal users), contacts which he created and also contacts to which he/she has been invited to follow. Other contacts which he/she did NOT create, will not be accessible unless he/she is INVITED to follow that particular contact by the owner of the contact or the Admin of the system. Note that Admin user belongs to the group known as "Access To All Contacts" by default. Please refer to screenshots on right and below for illustration.

Installation

This Module is a standard Odoo Module. Once you purchase it, please follow the following steps to install it:

  • A download link will be given by Odoo once you purchase this module.
  • You need to extract the downloaded file into Odoo 'addons' directory where all other modules are kept or you can put it anywhere else depending on your Odoo Configuration
  • It may not be necessary to restart Odoo at this stage, but it is highly recommended.
  • Enable developer mode/Debug Mode and go to Apps menu. Click on Updates Apps list for the new module to appear on the list of Apps.
  • Search for salesperson_see_own_contacts in the Apps list and then click on Install button and wait for it to finish
  • After that you can go back to contacts and check if its working

Configuration

No much configuration need. For advanced users or further tweaking, please get in touch via our support email for any help you require.

I glad to meet your group and great variety of modules 1.i want to sure about this module,so explain again what i need. i see u write salesperson_see_own_contacts but i want each person in each unit that create a contact just can see this.an just administrator could see everything. maybe u say yes,this will works with my needs but for example in SO when i want to select customer name in the field that listed names dose maybe it exist name of vendor yet in that list,or when i create PO and want select name of vendors from list purchase user see the customer name also. 2.i want to buy module for the first time,is modules that bought have lead time like main module of odoo? in simple i buy one module once for always?? 3.is module has trial version?

i have 2 user.one in sales another in purchase,i need no one able to see info from each other,sale and purchase independent totally.for example sales person must not see any info about supplier in vendor and purchase user cant see customer info. this module dose it work for me?
