the description of the module indicates ip and mac the ip of the client is displayed but the mac address is of the server and not of the client

be careful it's

we are interested in purchasing this module, but we would to know if it is compatible with the official odoo app (Android/ios) , because our employees use the odoo mobile app to check in/out from the system

No need to install other things you have to just need to install module as you are installing other apps, only internet connection required in case of running in local network.
