Be sure you don't use your official SumUp account and ask SumUp support team for a development account first...! Otherwise you will be messing with real payments.

Hi,

who did you ask support for?

I am trying to answer any question and usually within a few hours. I am sorry yours might have gotten lost somehow.

Send me an email to thomas@designcomplex.de and we hopefully get all problems and questions sorted out.

Best regards, Thomas

Hello Thomas,

All sumup terminal are compatible ?

I need to use 11 terminal in a big fair with 11 ipad that sell a lot ( 400k € / day)

Do you think its a god solution ?

Thanks

Donovan

Hi Donovan,

only the Sumup Air terminal is supported. The others won't work with the Sumup App (iOS/Android/iPadOS)...
Sumup didn't develop an API for the new Solo, which is very sad. I keep motivating them ;)...

The amount of money is not a problem.

If you are using one Sumup account with 11 sale terminals and one affiliate key (maybe more app ids), I am not sure if or how Sumup will handle the payments. But I would give it a try! Or check with Sumup support beforehand!

The module and Sumup should work like a charm I think.

Best regards,
Thomas

I wrote with Nelson and we could clarify the issues and got everything working very fast. Would be nice if he could mention that here.

Sumup Model

Hi there,

Does this integration work with any Sumup card reader, or is it only specific models?

I note they have 2 or 3 different models on their website: https://sumup.co.uk/card-readers/?prc=UKSOLOBF21

Many thanks, Scott

Hi Scott,

unfortunately Sumup is only supporting their API connection for the Air terminal (as stated in the description heading ;) ...). The other terminals are not (yet) supported.

Let me know if you have further questions!

Best regards,
Thomas
