Open the Apps menu in your Odoo and install the module "utd" (utd_purchase, utd_sale and utd_contract optional).

This will allow each Partner to select “Use UPD” on his form, on the Accounting tab, to use UPD instead of the Bill of Lading and the Certificate of Provision of Services, since this is a matter of agreement with each specific counterparty.

These documents can be binded with a Sale order or a Purchase order. They can be generated automatically on the Order confirmation. And these documents can be created manually through the "Accounting" module menu, or through the Sale or Purchase modules menus if corresponding modules are installed in the system. For the Sale orders closing documents can be generated automatically or by button pressing in the Sale order status bar, depends on the selected setting "Closing documents automatic creation" in the Sales module settings.
