This app offers an alternative solution for managing product substitutions in a product-based environment.
When executing a Manufacturing Order involving the primary product, this app ensures that the alternative product is consumed in the event of unavailability.
Configure your product variants with their alternative products.
Configure the ration of your alternative (ex: when using this alternative we need to use 2 quantities instead of 1)
Configuration
Navigate to Product Variants within the Sales or Inventory sections, to access the desired product that requires modification.
Look for the "Alternative Products" notebook specifically dedicated to this purpose
Click on it and add the substitute product to the lines below the page.
Once the aforementioned configuration is finalized, the module will automatically designate the alternative product whenever the quantities of the primary product fall short of the Bill of Materials requirements during a Manufacturing Order.
