Q. is it possible to block customers access for some users?? i.e i have 2 ppl in sales and 2 in purchase. i don't want purchase ppl to see customers and vice versa (sales ppl should not see vendors).

Q. on what basis you decide contact is customer / vendor (any specific field)
Q. i.e i have 2 users in accounts ( internal accountant and external audit guy) i don't want audit guy to see all my customer names on invoices etc ( if that user customer access is blocked, does it hide customer name in invoice as well for him.?
hope to hear soon, thanks,haseeb

Hi Haseeb,
thank you for contacting us.
Yes, you can block customer access for any user. there are three options: show own customer, allowed customer, and all customers. for your scenario, you need to set allowed customer from the user form and add the user as an allowed user in the customer form .. in this way you can set the access right of customers for a specific user.

No, it just hides the customer from customer menus.
