How to use the module: Purchase Warning On Unit Cost Zero
The Odoo default behavior has the limitation of warning user on the purchase order line which has the unit cost zero that lead to impact the cost of product especially when you are using FIFO and AVG costing method.
This is the reason why we build this module to support this need. Meaning that when purchase representative creates the order line which contains unit cost Zero it will raise the user error to alert them. They can force confirm if they are willing to but they need the permission on that.
Ability to force confirm that user error if you have permission to force
To make this module work in your database. You have to follow these steps as below:
Step 1: Purchase this module
Step 2: Copy and paste this module to your folder custom addons
Step 3: Rebuild your server
Step 4: Install app
After install the app, then you will be able to use the feature in this module as the below demonstration:
Step 1: Assign the permission to the users you prefer them to force confirmed PO even unit zero, or leave it False then the purchase user cannot confirm if order line has the unit cost is zero
Step 2: When the user has that permission, they will have the ability to force confirm the purchase order even it has the zero-unit cost.
Step 3: When you click Force Confirm, then it will confirm the Purchase order as normal
Step 4: But if you do not have permission to force confirm, then you will not be able to use the button.
