Inventory Audit Module

This module is a powerful addition to Odoo's inventory management capabilities. This module empowers businesses to conduct thorough and accurate audits of their stock, ensuring precise inventory records and operational efficiency. Seamlessly integrated with Odoo, this module provides a user-friendly interface for managing audit sessions, conducting stock counts, and making necessary adjustments.

Setting Up User Rights and Permissions

Navigate to the Settings module.

  • Under the Users & Companies section, click on Users.
  • In the User settings, go to the Access Rights tab.
  • check Audit Manager if you want give full access of module.

New Update: create adjustment entries to accounts.

Audit Operation Process

Navigate to the Audit Request Form.

  • From the main menu, go to Inventory > Audit > Inventory Audit.
  • Click on Create to create a new audit request.

Fill in Audit Request Details

  • In the Audit form, provide the necessary information such as User, Manager, Warehouse, and Audit Locations.
  • Click on the Start button to initiate the audit, transitioning the audit state to "In Progress."

Create New Audit Session

  • click on the New Session button, it will allow you to create audit sessions.

Perform Stock Auditing

  • Once the audit session is started, use the barcode scanner or manually enter quantities for the products in the specified locations.
  • Quantities can be entered in the Counted Quantity field. Discrepancies between the counted quantity and the expected quantity will be calculated automatically.
Re-Plan Audit Session (Optional) Apply Inventory Adjustments
If needed, you can click on the Re-Plan button to reset the audit session to the draft state. OR After completing the stock count, click on the Apply Inventory Adjustments button. This action triggers the inventory adjustments, which creates stock moves based on the discrepancies found during the audit.

Accounting, Product Moves and Other Results

View Accounting Entries, Product Moves and Other Results

  • In button box you can see Accounting entries and Product Moves (if accounts are properly setup).
  • The audit session interface provides tabs for viewing different categories of products:
    • All Stock: Displays all products audited during the session.
    • Partial Audited: Shows products that were partially audited.
    • Non-Audited: Lists products that were not audited.
    • Audited: Displays products that were audited completely.
    • Overstock: Shows products with quantities exceeding the expected stock level.

Generate Reports

  • After completing the audit sessions, you can generate reports based on the audit data and analysis performed. The specific steps for generating reports may depend on the configuration and customization of your Odoo instance.

In this video you see that the sales person is automatically assigned when the lead is moved from one stage to other.

  • First we assign sales person to each stage.
  • Then we move lead to the desired stage.
  • Thus the lead assigned sales person is changed automatically.
