Representational State Transfer (REST) API is a way of accessing web
services in a simple and flexible way without having any processing. It provide a flexible,
lightweight way to integrate applications, and have emerged as the most common method for
connecting components in microservices architectures.
Odoo REST API Module creates RESTful API for Odoo and gives an option to access and
modify data via HTTP requests. Based on the authorization given to a user, he/she will be able
to fetch, create, update and delete a record from the database. The process simply includes
sending the appropriate request.
