If so, you are in luck! because your problem has been solved Techultra developed a 'Discuss Search Bar' app for the discuss module, where you just have to type the word and you will find all matched words in the chat window.

1. After installing the app, go to the Discuss module and see a search bar at the top of the chat window.
2. Now, type the word you want to search for and press the enter key of your computer. In your chat history, you will now see all of the matching words/sentences. You can move forward and backward by using the arrows provided. You can also see the total matching words and total visited words.
