Problems
By default, if the project managers are not granted access to Sales Management, they will not have access to read sales orders and sales order lines of the corresponding project. This makes it difficult to search, re-check the scope of the project, price or other terms related to this order. But if they are granted access to Sales Management, they can read other sales orders. And the manager will not allow it.
Solutions
We provide the feature to grant the project managers reading access to the sales orders and sales order lines of which the corresponding projects.

Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword viin_sale_project.
- Press Install.

Instruction video: Sale Project
Step 1: Create products with some information:
- Product Type: Service
- Create on Order: Project & Task
Step 2: Navigate to Sales > Orders > Quotation, create a quotation with the above product. After that, press Confirm.
Step 3: Navigate to Projects app. Here, the system will create automatically a Project and Task. Set project manager for this project:
Step 4: As the Project Manager: Choose the task, at the Chatter area, you can see the linkage of sales order. Press this linkage to see the sales order and the sales order lines.
