Accounts and Analytic Accounts Restrictions
Use this module to restrict who can access the Accounts from the Chart of Accounts and the Analytic Accounts across the whole system.
Features:
- Control who will have full access to the Accounts and Analytic Accounts.
- Control who will have restricted access to the Accounts and Analytic Accounts.
- Control the access per account and analytic account.
- The restrictions are applied to the COA and Analytic Accounts menus.
- The user will see only his allowed accounts on the Chart of Accounts, and his allowed Analytic Accounts (if he has access to the menus).
- The restricted user will be able to see and use only his allowed Accounts and Analytic Accounts on Journal Entries, Bills, Invoices, Cash & Bank transactions...
- Multi Companies restriction.
Activation:
- The users who will have restricted access will be added to the groups (Restrict Accounts) and/or (Restrict Analytic Accounts).
- Users with full access shouldn't be added to the Restriction groups.
- The restricted users must be added to the Allowed Users tab in Accounts and/or Analytic Account, so they can see and use them.
Example:
- Out of 43 Accounts, the restricted user "Accountant" sees only his allowed 11 accounts.
- Out of 18 Analytic Accounts, the restricted user "Accountant" sees only his allowed 2 analytic accounts.
