Odoo Approvals to Custom App
The goal is to enable customers to create custom applications for different types of approvals rather than cramming all requests into one application.
Before
The issue at hand is that users often find it challenging to manage multiple types of approvals within the same application. Collecting all sorts of approvals in one place can lead to confusion and inefficiency.
After
We recommend including a new feature under the Configuration section of the Approvals App. Labeled as 'Dedicated Application', this will open a guidance wizard upon interaction. This wizard will enable users to choose a specific approval type. Users can then decide to either create a new application for this approval or clean an existing one. A warning prompt will ensure that the user is ready before continuing. The subsequent application created will include menu and submenus similar to our original Approvals app. However, all the action windows will be perfectly tailored to the selected approval type. The icon of the new app is identical to the approval, inheriting the name of the chosen approval type.

Installation
Find the module in the app list and click install!
Go to Approvals
Ensure you have access rights to the Approvals, then navigate to the Approvals menu
Go to Configuration > Trigger the Dedicated Application
Follow the given instructions. If you wish, you can also open the Dedicated Application Wizard.
Make the decision for the Approval Type and Your Selection
Follow the given instructions. You have the choice to set Approval Type and Your Selection.
Place Your New Approvals Application
Follow the given instructions. You can create a new application for your approval type or clean an existing one
