Indirect Times Management
The “MRP SFC Indirect Time Management” module aims to manage Setup Time and Cleanup Time at routing’s activity level in the follow up manufacturing execution processes (Scheduling and Product Costing).
Therefore, it is possible to detail indirect times, i.e. both Setup Time and Cleanup Time, for each activity in its routing instead of entering them at workcenter level only.
The indirect times at workcenter level are taken as default; that means, in case an indirect time has not been entered in an activity, the corresponding one in the related workcenter is taken into account in subsequent scheduling and product costing processes.
In detail, we have as follows:
Manufacturing Master data
· The page related to operative times for products in workcenters has been deactivated
· Two new fields, Setup and Cleanup times, are available in routing’s activity in BoM
Integration with OpenValue Scheduling and Time Management
· Standard times are calculated according to the new indirect times management procedure
· The expected duration in workorder scheduling is calculated as per this new feature and all the scheduling activities are performed consequently
Integration with OpenValue Product Costing
· Product costing calculation in the product master data has been updated taking into account the new standard times calculation inside the OpenValue product costing model
· Cost structure report in the BoM considers these two new fields for both times and amounts calculation inside the OpenValue product costing model
· Standard and Planned amounts are calculated according to this new feature
Integration with OpenValue Workorder Confirmation
· Default times are suggested as per this new feature
· Standard confirmations in preceding milestone activity confirmation are performed considering the new indirect times procedure
