Odoo Integration with John Deere* Payment Gateway
When customer wants to pay an existing Sales Order or Invoice using their John Deere account, the user selects “Sales” from the Odoo dashboard
The user brings-up the unpaid Sales Order or Invoice, and clicks the “Action” button at the top of the form. The “Action” drop down menu includes an option to “Generate a payment link.”
A pop-up with the payment link appears with the Sales Order/Invoice number, amount and the link. The user saves the link and pastes it into an open tab.
A “Customer Card” appears with the option to pay by “Credit Card (powered by John Deere)". If the customer′s John Deere information has been saved, the card will be auto populated. [If not the user manually enters the information onto the form.] With the ”…powered by John Deere" button selected, the user clicks “Pay”.
Within a few moments, the successful transaction is confirmed in Odoo…
And the transaction is posted in accounting as “In Payment ” with the notation that the Payment Journal is John Deere.
