How Sales Price Change Restriction works

  • arrow After completing the installation process, launch the settings app. Next, navigate to "Users & Companies" and select "Users" from the dropdown menu.


  • arrow Choose a specific user. In their profile, go to the "Access Rights" section. Ensure that the developer mode is activated. Scroll down to locate the "Restrict Change Product Price" checkbox. Mark this checkbox and save the changes to this setting.


  • arrow Once User has set up these settings, go to the Sales app. User can either create a new sales order or choose an existing one. If you haven't added a product yet, add it in the order. Now, if you try to change the price of the product, you won't be able to change it because the sales price is restricted to edit after installing this module.

Open your Odoo ERP System ▶ Apps ▶ Install/Activate this module.

Usage

After completing the installation process, launch the settings app. Next, navigate to "Users & Companies" and select "Users" from the dropdown menu.

Yes, 

If a user has access to the Pricelist, they can change the Pricelist from the Pricelist selection, regardless of whether they have "Restrict Change Product Price" access.

This "Restrict Change product price" restriction applies specifically to the update price from the sales line Unit Price, not the Pricelist selection.
