Sale order Cancel

Sale order, delivery, payment done but for some reason, the consumer canceled the Sales order. We know that if we cancel SO, Odoo will simply cancel the sale order and nothing else. Now you are worried how to manage it in odoo since odoo does not cancel invoice, delivery, and payments. Don't worry, use tech ultra "sale order cancel" app to perform all tasks in single click.

Working Process

Create a sale order to start the flow. There is one delivery, one invoice, and a cancel button in the image, indicating that the sale order flow has been completed.

Delivery Before Cancel

The image displays a successful product delivery.

Invoice Before Cancel

The invoice is currently in the "IN PAYMENT" stage.

Cancel Sale Order

Now, the customer has canceled the sales order, and we want to manage it in Odoo, click on the "Cancel" button to do so.

When you click on cancel, a pop-up window will appear asking you to send an email to the customer informing them that you have canceled the sales order. Here, simply click on it.

Sale Order Cancelled

Now, you'll notice that the SO has been canceled and the status has changed to Cancelled; in addition, you'll notice two invoices and a "Set to Quotation" button, which you can use to re-set it as a quotation.

Delivery After Cancel SO

After canceling SO, the delivery is also canceled.

Invoice After Cancelation

The invoice will also be cancelled if the Sale order is cancelled. you will see two invoices, one of which has been reversed and a journal entry has been posted, as you can see in the image.

When you open the invoice, you can see the status(reversed) in red ribbon.

After canceling SO, the delivery is also canceled.

Journal Entry

After cancellation, the journal entry will post a reversed invoice too. The prefix "RINV" will be used to begin the reverse invoice number.

This is a customer page where the customer may view the status of the quotation, delivery, and invoice after cancellation of sale order.
