Overview

This module helps you to manage all the things you need for a IT services company. Manage your hours, subscriptions with or without hardware and settlements on a very flexible way. Create a single quotation/order with multiple hours specified in phases and roles, multiple subscriptions with or without hardware delivery and of course normal product items.

Create an increase hours quotation/order from within your project.

Make price indexations on your subscriptions. Indexation history in maintained.

Increase or decrease the total of a running subscription. Increase/decrease history is maintained.

Helpful kanbans for your projects, tasks and settlements which gives you all important information.

Allow to use products on tasks, for example cables used on a task 'Router installation'. Invoice the used products in the settlement.

Configuration to get started

You need to give users the rights for using the services module (user, manager, administrator)

Setup your employee tree using the Odoo HR module. Here you define who is manager and must approve the submitted hours done by the engineers.

You need to create serveral products.

Use product type 'Hours' for the rates you are using.

Use product type 'Subscription' when the product is a subscription. In the tab 'Subscription' define the total months for the subscription.

When your subscription contains hardware, use the type 'Subscription BOM' and define a kit with the hardware you want to deliver. When the subscription extension is without hardware define also a normal subscription and use this product in the subscription tab of the 'Subscription BOM'.

You need to define some task stages in Services -> Configuration when you are working with tasks. Tasks are needed when you want to book used products on a service.

Create a quotation template containing 3 sections (products, hours, services/subscriptions). In your quotation group the products to the correct section. See screenshots why this is important.
