- This module is built to integrate the Git Management app with the Project Management app.

- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_git_project.
- Press Install.
Instruction
Concepts
- Git: this is a distributed version management system that works through repositories.
- Git Repository: this is a repository containing the entire history of changes that the user makes to it. Each Repository will include Branches that represent specific versions of that Repository forked from the Main Project. In these branches, developers can test changes without conflicting code with other developers.
How it works
Step 1: Create Git Repository and Git Branches.
First, go to the Git app, create a Git repository and Git branches according to the instruction on the Git module.
Step 2: Set up the Default Git Repo. on a project.
Go to the Project app, on a Project view, the Default Git Repo field will appear. Copy the Git Repository you want to connect here and then press Save.
Step 3: Set up Git branch on a Task.
Go to a Task, here, the system will suggest the Default Git Repo be the Git Repo. Copy the Git branch you want to connect here.
Step 4: Manage Project, and Manage Task with Git repo, and Git branch.
On the project list, you can filter, group with the Default Git Repo. criteria. Similarly, on the Tasks list, you can filter, and group by the Git Repo. and Git Branch criteria.
Go to the Git app, select a Git Repo and you will see the statistic buttons for the Projects, Tasks connected to it.
