What it does

Problem

  • You are having trouble tracking the module sales order on your homepage;
  • Customers who complain when purchasing new modules have to manually exclude dependent modules they previously purchased.

This module will help you

  • Automatically load and pay for modules depending on the selected module;
  • Exclude modules that this customer has previously paid for to avoid repeated purchases;
  • Print module description when printing quotation/sale order in PDF format;
  • Track and make statistics on the number of modules customers have purchased right on the sales interface.

Key Feature

The module adds some features

  • Options appear on Auto Load Apps Dependencies allowing the system will load automatically all the modules which depend on the selected modules;
  • Options appear on exclude Already-Purchased Apps allowing the system will exclude the purchased and paid modules by this customer to prevent duplication while loading the dependent modules;
  • Options appear on Print App Description to print description on the quotation/sales order in PDF file;
  • Adding Order Lines Tab shows the selected modules and all the dependency modules. The dependency modules will be identified in the Dependency section.
  • Creating sale quotation when selecting each module one by one in the list view.

Installation

  1. Navigate to Apps.
  2. Search with keyword to_odoo_module_sale.
  3. Press Install.

1. Add information on customer profile

On the customer profile, select Excluded Already-Purchased Apps on the Sales & Purchase tab to exclude the purchased and paid modules when the dependent modules are loaded.

2. Add information on the product

Navigate to Sales > Products > Products, and select randomly one product related to the module. On the Sales tab you can choose to print the app description on the quotation/sales order in a PDF file.

3. Create Sales order

Navigate to Sales > Orders > Quotation, press Create to create a new request for quotation on the Viindo Sales app. Here you can select the product related to the module and some options appear on the quotation:

  • Auto Load Apps Dependencies: The system will load automatically all the modules which depend on the selected modules;
  • Exclude Already-Purchased Apps: While loading the dependent modules, the system will exclude the purchased and paid modules by this customer to prevent duplication;
  • Print App Description: Allows to print description on the quotation/sales order in PDF file;
  • Order Lines Tab: Shows the selected modules and all the dependency modules. The dependency modules will be identified in the Dependency section.

Press Save to save the changes. On the right corner, you can see the total amount of purchased modules.

Press Print > Quotation/Sales Order to print and send it to the customer. In addition to the list of purchased apps, you can find the description for each app version below.

After receiving confirmation from the customer, press Confirm and create the customer invoice, record customer payments.
