POS Gift code Redeem
Odoo base already provides POS gift card generation and redemption, however utilizing TUS POS gift code redeem app can improve customer experience and loyalty. This software will also manage customers' remaining balance .

1.Create gift code
To create gift Code follow the step of base,
go to POSâ Productâ gift cards & eWallets
Fill required details and click on Generate Gift Cards,
You can see all generated gift cards in the right above
2.Gift Cards Here , you can see all generated gift cards.
3.Before Redeem
Now open any gift card, you can see in the image that the total balance of this gift card is 10 now.
4.POS (Point Of Sale)
Now open the POSsession, as you can see in the image that the total
amount of order is $ 72.40 before applying gift code, now click on
Enter code to enter gift code..
Now, Enter gift code,
5. Redeem Amount
After entering the code, a pop-up window will appear with code details; here you may select how many points/amount you wish to redeem; after entering the amount, click the redeem button.
6.Gift Cards
You can see that the Gift card has been
added and the total amount has been reduced from $72.40 to $66.65
after applying the gift code.
7.Payment Screen
Here customer will pay only $ 66.65 after using gift card
8.Balance After Redeem
After redeeming $5, the remaining balance has now been updated to $5. This provides a clear indication of the remaining amount on the gift card.
9. Redeem Greater Amount
That's an important point to consider. When users try to redeem an amount greater than the available balance on their gift card, it should indeed trigger an error message to notify them of the insufficient balance. This ensures that users are aware of the limit and can adjust their redemption amount accordingly.
