Key Features

Allows to track changes of the following field at the chatter section of product category:

  • Stock Input Account (property_stock_account_input_categ_id);
  • Stock Output Account (property_stock_account_output_categ_id);
  • Stock Valuation Account (property_stock_valuation_account_id);
  • Stock Journal (property_stock_journal);
  • Costing Method (property_cost_method);
  • Inventory Valuation (property_valuation);
  • Force Removal Strategy (removal_strategy_id).

Installation

  1. Navigate to Apps.
  2. Search with keyword viin_mail_thread_stock_account.
  3. Press Install.

Instructions

After installing the app, navigate to Inventory > Configuration > Product Categories, select an existing category or press Create to create a new one. Here, at the chatter section that help user send email, log internal note, attach file or add followers. The system will record the editing history and the editor information of the following fields:

  • Income Account;
  • Stock Output Account;
  • Stock Valuation Account;
  • Stock Journal;
  • Costing Method;
  • Inventory Valuation;
  • Force Removal Strategy.
Product Category

Note: You need to install the to_account_accountant and use the automated inventory valuation method in order to select the inventory account on the product category.
