Account Journal Entry Cancel Button

Description

The "Can Unpost Journal Entries" module is designed to enhance the security and control over journal entry management in your system. It introduces a user group named "Can unpost journal entries," restricting the ability to "Reset to Draft" only to the members of this specified group. [a]

Configuration

After installing the Account Journal Entry Cancel Button   application, the feature will be enabled.

Go to Settings - - > Users & Companies - - > Users.

Select any user.

“Can unpost journal entries” boolean group is  added under the access rights of the user.

Functionality

This app hides the ”Cancel” and “Reset to Draft” button from invoices, credit notes, bills, refunds and journal entries by disabling the “Can unpost journal entries” from Users.

In Invoices

We can see the “Reset to Draft” and “Cancel” button is invisible in Invoice.

In Credit Notes

We can see the “Reset to Draft” and “Cancel” button is invisible in Credit Note.

In Bills

We can see the “Reset to Draft” and “Cancel” button is invisible in Bill.

In Refunds

We can see the “Reset to Draft” and “Cancel” button is invisible in Refund.

In Journal Entries

We can see the “Reset to Draft” and “Cancel” button is invisible in Journal Entry.
