Recurring Payments in Accounts

Handle Recurring Payments by Generating Journal Entries Automatically.

Key Highlights

Create Multiple Recurring Methods

Create multiple recurring methods(templates) to handle multiple payments

Customize Recurring Periods

Customize recurring periods(daily, weekly, monthly or yearly) with time intervals.

Show Remaining Payment.

Shows the remaining payments, so you can remove any payment from the list to prevent it from generating its journal entries.

Prevent Payment Methods.

Prevent any payment method(template) from generating journal entries by making their status as 'Draft' at any time.

Edit Remaining Payment Details.

Option to edit remaining payment's date,name and amount before generating journal entries.

Generate Recurring Journal Entries.

Generate recurring journal entries as 'Posted' or 'Unposted'(Draft).

Goto Recurring Templates

Invoicing >> Configuration >> Online Payments >> Recurring Templates

Create Recurring Templates

Notice that templates which are in 'Running' status are only generate recurring entries.

To generate Journal Entries for those created templates

Invoicing >> Customers >> Payments >> Recurring Entries OR Invoicing >> Vendors >> Payments >> Recurring Entries In the wizard window you can see all the remaining payments. It also allows you to filter the remaining payments by date. Press the button Generate Entries to create journal entries of the chosen remaining payments.

View Generated Journal Entries

Invoicing >> Accounting >> Journal Entries. Notice that templates which are in 'Running' status are only generate recurring entries.
  • This module helps to handle those type of payments by generating journal entries automatically based on your conditions.
  • You can create multiple type of recurring methods(templates) to handle multiple payments.
