Odoo 17 POS Custom Discount (Community)
This module allows users to apply custom or manual discounts to orders or orderlines from the POS interface.
Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo
community edition but not tested in Enterprise version. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows
OS.
How to use
- User have to configure the rule for discount to use prefixed discount.
- User can set the pin to apply the manual discount.
- User have to configure the settings to use the prefixed discount in the POS interface.
- User can open the custom discount popup by clicking on 'Disc' button or by pressing the predefined key (ex. 'd' key).
- User can apply selected discount to selected orderline or all orderlines.
- After successful validation, user can see the applied discount in the orderline.
- User can also give manual discount to the customer.
- To open manual discount popup, user need to click on 'Manual' button.
- User have to enter the correct password to open the manual discount popup.
- Once the password is verified, user can apply the manual discount.
- After applying manual discount, user can see the applied discount in the orderline with discount reason note.
- User can see discount line and discount reason note in order receipt as well.
- User can also see the fixed discount and discount reason note in POS order.
