Time Based Products on POS Odoo App helps users to sell and manage products that are rented or sold for a specific period, such as event tickets, equipment rentals, or hotel room bookings. When a customer selects a time based product in the POS, they can start and stop time for the product, which the system will use to calculate the total cost based on the duration and the product's price.

To sell product based on time user need to enable "Manage Time" option for product and select Unit of Measure as "POS Minute, Or POS Hour".
Users with "Manage Multiple Units of Measure" access rights only can set "Unit of Measure" for product.
Time Based Products in POS
When user select time based product in point of sale, users can see "Start" button for selected product.
User can see after specific time period, product price will be calculated based on time.
POS Receipt
User can see point of sale order receipt with time based product.
POS Order
User can see "Allocation Time" on created point of sale order with time based product.
Warning
Users can see a warning if tries to change the price while the timer running.
