Equipment Allocation in odoo app allow When employee needs any equipment then they can make Equipment Equipment Allocation Request to the manager. Manger will approve the Equipment Allocation Request and equipment will be allocated to the particular employee. Equipment can be allocated to employee on On-Demand(temporary) basis or on Permanent basis.

  • arrow Employee can make Equipment Allocation Request for the Equipment.
  • arrow Allocation can be made by 2 ways :
    • On Demand : Equipment will be allocated to the employee for limited period of time
    • Permanent : Equipment will be permanently allocated to the employee
  • arrow Manager will Approve/Reject Equipment Allocation Request
  • arrow You can see how many equipments are allocated to the employee from the employee screen.
  • arrow Employees have to return allocated equipment before return date, If employee returns equipment after return date then Overdue Days will be logged on the request.
  • arrow Employee can replace allocated equipment if allocation is made on Permanent basis.
  • arrow Allocation Replacement Request will be created when employee request to replace equipment which is allocated on permanent basis.
  • arrow Once manager approves replacement request then new requested equipment will be allocated to the employee and previously allocated equipment will be available for the other employees.
  • arrow Separate menu is created for Equipment Replacement Requests.
  • arrow When manager reject Equipment Allocation Request then reject reason will be updated on the Equipment Allocation Request.
  • arrow You can configure before days into General Settings > Equipment Return Reminder. So notification email will be sent to employee when return date of the Equipment Allocation Request is near.
  • arrow Email Notification:
    • When employee create request then notification email will be sent to all the Equipment Managers
    • When manager approves request then notification email sent to employee
    • When manager rejects request then notification email sent to employee
    • Notification email sent to employee when return date of equipment is near
