Odoo 17 POS Operation Restrict (Community)

This module allows user to set discount and price restriction for cashiers in POS.

Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo community edition. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.

How to use

  • In the POS configuration, the user needs to configure the operations restrict settings and managers.
  • User needs to configure the authentication type and other configurations for the managers.

  • User needs to configure the authentication type and other configurations for the cashiers.

  • Select the cashier to open the POS session.

  • If authentication type is barcode, the cashier can apply the discount using manager's barcode.

  • Discounts can be applied after successful barcode authentication.


  • User needs to configure the authentication type and other configurations for the managers.


  • User needs to configure the authentication type and other configurations for the cashiers.


  • If authetication type is pin, the cashier can apply the discount using manager's pin.


  • Discounts can be applied after successful pin authentication.
