Functions
Added access control for sales team leader
Added access right: Team leader: Team documents: Have access to all documents (including: leads, opportunities, quotation, sales orders) of any teams that he/she is a member of and those of all subordinate teams.
Note: One team can have multiple Team leaders and one member can be part of multiple teams (odoo version 16.0 only)
Added Parent Team
In Sales Team setting, a Parent team is added with unlimited Hierachy levels.
Configuration Example
With regard to added access rule, a setting example is presented as follow:
In the User setting
Mitchell Admin is appointed "Team leader: Team documents". He will have access to all documents of his team and all the subordinate teams.
In the Sales team setting,
Notice the new field Parent team
Michell Admin is appointed a member of "Asia" Team which is a subordinate of "All" team and a parent of Singapore Team and Vietnam Team.
With the above settings, Michell Admin will be able to see the following documents:
1. He can see all documents of all subordinate teams and Vietnam team is a subordinate of Asia team.
2. The opportunity not assigned to any sales person.
3. Similar to (1), Singapore team is a subordinate of Asia team.
4. He can see his own document (even the document belonged to other sales teams of which he is not a member)
5. He can see all documents of Asia team.
The same access right also applied to CRM Opportunities and Leads
Sales team leader can only see:
1. Leads/opportunities which are not assigned to anyone or any sales team
2. Leads/opportunities assigned to him
3. Leads/opportunities assigned to his sales team or subordinate sales teams
