Document OCR Search (PDF)

OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition, which is a technology used to convert different types of documents, such as scanned paper documents, PDF files, or images captured by a digital camera, into editable and searchable data. OCR technology extracts text from these documents, making it possible to digitize and work with the content programmatically.
While uploading PDF scanned documents, this module converts them automatically into OCR searchable format. When the user will search for any indexed keyword, the system will automatically search and list out related documents in which that keyword exists.
In this way, users will be able to search a keyword of documents from lots of listed documents and this way system will automatically filter out related documents.

Note: After purchasing this module, Please follow command from README file and then run requirements.txt file for python libraries installation

This module is compatible with

Search keyword/content from scanned PDF Documents

Users will be able to search for a keyword or a particular content from different attached scanned PDF documents.

Supports search in case of document replacement

This module also works in case one scanned PDF document is replaced with another scanned PDF document.

Search from multiple documents

As shown in image, you will be able to see there are different documents are attached here in Odoo standard document management module, in which there are also different scanned PDF documents. Now a users wants to search a keyword named "product" from these attached some of scanned PDF documents. 

Output

You can see that system has found one PDF document in which there is a keyword named "product". Like this if there will be also multiple documents available that will suits searched keyword/content then system will also list out multiple documents here.
